Summary/Objective
The Commercial Account Representative will work directly with agency clients ensuring they receive excellent service, comprehensive insurance offerings and through reviews of existing policies.

Essential Functions

• Work with sales team to review best coverages for accounts
• Make and Receive calls to agency insureds regarding policy questions, renewals, and new business
• Quickly learn the agency management system and standardized system of filing
• Input data into management system in an accurate and timely manner
• Shop new and renewal business accounts through insurance market
• Collaborate with sales team to secure renewal business
• Independent servicing of assigned book of business, endorsements, policy changes and record keeping
• Remotely send accounts for signature and binding
• Assist the Senior Commercial account manager with excess workflow

Summary/Objective
The Personal Lines Account Representative/ Agent will work directly with agency clients to provide excellent service, comprehensive insurance offerings and thorough reviews of existing policies.

Essential Functions

• Knowledge on all lines of business including auto, homeowners, flood, boat, umbrella, etc.
• Accurately file and maintain client data and activities in the agency management system
• Collect all information needed for quotes including inspections
• Accurately input policies in multi-line raters and make professional offering decisions to insureds
• Shop new and renewal business accounts through insurance market within agency timelines and deadlines
• Use our Superior Option of Carriers to up-sell current book of business.
• Market accounts to insurance carriers
• Identify sales opportunities within customer book of business to cross-sell additional lines of coverage.
• Finalize and confirm all needed items and documents prior to reaching out to insured
• Make and receive calls to agency insureds regarding in a professional and courteous manner

Summary/Objective
The Licensing Coordinator is a key team member in the acquisitions team of the administration department, corresponding with carriers and state agencies for license renewals and book of business rollovers. The Licensing Coordinator works with internal employees to monitor, and schedule continuing
education and handles carrier credential access in compliance with agency policy.

Essential Functions

• Collects and maintains employee license information from new employees.
• Schedules employee licensing classes for new hires and advanced licensing for current team members
• Appoints employee licenses with carriers as required.
• Tracks license appointments with carriers and removes terminated employee associations.
• Monitors continuing education requirements for team members and schedules learning opportunities to fulfill credit requirements.
• Sets up carrier credentials for team members and properly handles resets.
• Research carrier appetites for lines of business and requests appointments as required.
• Properly completes carrier applications.
• Using the agency management system, inputs licensing information for employees
• Sets up newly appointed carriers in the agency management system.
• Appoints agency and producers where required with non-resident states.
• Renews state licenses for producers and agencies in a timely manner.
• Maintains state appointed tracking for team members so current information is available.
• Inputs data into agency management system for books of business acquired from acquisitions.
• Keeps department managers informed of relevant changes in commission structures or carrier temporary incentives that lead to profitability increases for agency.
• Coordination with other acquisition team members to accomplish acquisition goals and meet deadlines.
• Other duties as required by Chief Administrative Officer to provide overall agency support of current team members and acquired personnel.

Job Description: In the Commercial Insurance Sales Producer role, you must be an independent self-starter who is able to sell and develop strong business-to-business relationships. We are seeking confident professionals who are not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business. Other requirements include:

  • 2+ years of previous business-to-business sales experience
  • Commercial Insurance sales experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Preference given to those with existing insurance license and/or industry designations

POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Executive/Outside Sales position is responsible for the identification and relationship development of key referral sources, the identification and development of leads and prospects, the production of new business sales, and the retention of the book of business through outstanding service, honesty, and integrity.

LICENSING

This position requires a South Carolina Property & Casualty producer license as required by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.

CORE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with preferred carriers to identify underwriting guidelines and appetite for target/niche markets.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a business plan that aligns with the agency’s strategic goal.
  • Solicit and sell new insurance accounts to meet both individual sales objectives and the agency strategic sales objectives.
  • Renew existing accounts, re-market as necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing markets and underwriting criteria for our preferred carriers.
  • Meet agency expectations for level of service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Actively engage and participate in community networking events and organizations.
  • Maintain a cohesive working relationship with assigned CSR(s) and/or Account Manager(s) through teamwork.
  • Participate in sales meetings and in-house training as requested.
  • Adhere to the Agency Guidelines Manual and respective core processes in order to minimize E&O exposure to the agency.
  • Maintain necessary licenses and required continuing education for license renewal.
